SECTION II: Position Description

DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The purpose of this position is to receive orders from customers, solve problems for customers, and communicate any issues or delays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive orders from customers for Lynn Distributor, Business Center, Funeral Homes & all other customer
• Coordinate shipments; communicate with scheduling, carrier(s), and dock
• Process UPS/USPS orders
• Process and arrange shipment of display cut units
• Answer 99% of questions regarding the product
• Communicate closely with sales, scheduling (accuracy of inventory) and accounting departments
• Work with outside vendors to order customized product
• Generate load tickets, receivers, and inter-company transfers
• Process custom catalog/photo orders

AUTHORITY TO:

• Consider safety first; report unsafe conditions identified in any area of the facility
• Comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety-related company policies
• Maintain good housekeeping

SECTION III: Position Requirements

EDUCATON/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

2-4 year degree in Business or related field

2-5 years experience in customer service/call-center environment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES NEEDED:

• Ability to resolve customer disputes in a professional manner
• Thorough understanding of logistics
• Basic-intermediate computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Managing to deadlines

Office environment

Physical requirements are sitting and typing for long periods of time.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
